A specialised university department in the North of Italy is carrying out a research project aimed at studying the
performance and the comfort qualities of textiles used in traditional and technical sport garments. Several testing
methodologies that may be integrated in the production process of sportswear are being developed. The researchers
are willing to establish partnerships with foreign industries in the concerned sector for know-how transfer.
A SME located in Germany/Saxony has long-time experience in the field of woven technical textiles. As a result of
ten-year co-operation with partners from mechanical engineering they are looking for new application fields of
their pressure-elastic new materials with integrated textile articulated constructions.
An Israeli SME developed a novel water-based hydrophobic surfactant solution for skin care products. It is an alcohol-
free emulsifying agent replacement delivery platform that may contain large amounts of essential oils and other water
insoluble pharmaceutical drugs and fatty substances such as vitamin E. It is harmless and non-irritating to skin tissues.
Partners are sought to incorporate the technology into existing and next-generation applications and products.
A Spanish technology centre has developed a system of wastewater treatment based in continuous float
electrocoagulation, as main or complementary step to abate several pollutant indexes in the outcoming water
stream, as well as organic persistent pollutants and odour elimination. The centre is seeking for commercial
agreements with technical assistance.
A Welsh SME is offering anaerobic digestion technology and expertise to industries and organisations that produce high-
strength industrial effluent as part of their manufacturing processes. To exploit the potential of the technology and
provide a full design and build service, the Welsh SME is looking for a collaborative agreement with a suitable company.
An Andalusian research group has developed a new method to obtain active carbon from PET wastes, which can be
used for adsorption of pollutants contained in air or in water purification come from industrial processes. The
main advantages are the low cost of the raw material, the greater amount of activated carbon obtained with a
lower temperature of the pyrolysis process, and the increase in yield in active carbon production. They are looking
for license agreements or technical cooperation.
A French SME specialised in the study of magnetism property has developed an innovative protocol to create
geophysical profiles for improving correlation in reservoirs rocks interesting petroleum companies.Another aim is
to detect heavy metals in polluted area. The company is seeking partners specialised in geophysics or/and in the
detection of pollutions for technical cooperation or joint venture agreement.
An Italian research centre has developed a cryo-comminution pilot plant for waste materials recycling, to improve
the quality of recycled materials. Comminution tests were performed on single-constituent materials (plastics) and
composite materials. Suitable partners are industries interested in process development and exploitation as well as
partners interested in further research projects.
An individual Italian company has developed and patented new equipment for production and utilisation of ozone
gas using an innovated type of UVC lamp with an enhanced ozone production factor. The technology allows cheap,
safe and diffuse use of the most powerful antiseptic that includes many other useful characteristics like
discoloration and deodorising. The company is looking for industrial partner interested in manufacturing the
equipment and testing new applications.
An Italian company located in Northern Italy, part of a major group involved in plastic film recycling and in
production of packaging for food and non-food articles, has developed a mechanical process for treatment of
Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The equipment employing such process was validated by university researchers and
is used by municipalities in Italy and Germany. The company looks for public or private operators interested in
commercial agreements with technical assistance.
A Spanish researcher has development a technology consisting of an activities integration process for the
establishment of electronic commerce & sales remote channels. In this process all the activities are integrated in a
coherent form, such as the management of databases, making of supplies, communication & sizing of the client
attention services, with feedback processes for continuous improvement of the results. He looks for license &
commercial agreements with technical assistance.
A Spanish researcher has developed an enterprise transformation model to increase a company’s competitiveness.
This allows to evaluate the company’s forwardness, to prioritise actions in the different activities in the value chain
in order to adapt the enterprise model and to identify the functions where the authentic competitive advantages of
the company reside in order to concentrate on them. The researcher looks for commercial agreement with technical
assistance and license agreement.
