An experienced French SME manufacturing dies of foundries’ forges and moulds offers its know-how for production of
liquid forging dies. The company has the knowledge and capacity to produce very high-quality tools (dies and punches).
The types of required partners are foundries controlling liquid forging and searching for manufactures able to produce
dies and punches to set a commercial partnership with technical development.
A Research-and-Development organisation from Poland has developed a pulsatory classifier to separate impurities from
natural aggregates. The use of such a machine enables a production of washed aggregate, which meets the qualitative
standards, as well as an adjustment of technological parameters of the products to the customer’s requirements. The
organisation is looking for industrial partners interested in an implementation of pulsatory classifiers.
An Italian private inventor has patented a new door opening system for cars and would like to manufacture a prototype
of a coupe. The novel door opening system consists of lateral internal sliding of the 2 half-doors, one sliding forward
and the other one sliding backward, the innovative characteristic whereof is that the doors are not exceeding the
vehicle’s profile. He is looking for car component producers or suppliers or a big car industry willing to help in the
development of the prototype.
A Spanish research group has developed aluminium-based composite components and products obtained either by
melting and solidification or by powder metallurgy that are reinforced by the introduction of intermetallic particles. The
group is looking for metallurgical companies interested in license agreements.
A French company has developed innovative stainless steel water storage tank facilities aimed at improving efficiency
during fire interventions. The company is searching industrial partners interested by the development of this product.
A Portuguese university has developed an innovative process to filter and collect small substances in aqueous
suspensions. This process overcomes the problem of filter clogging, allowing the separation and collection of particles
< 20 _m from aqueous suspensions at large rates with great efficiency. License agreement and technical cooperation
are sought with companies active in areas where small particles in suspension such as cells, spores of fungi or others
have to be separated and collected.
A Brussels SME specialised in the production and commercialisation of nanopowders (oxides, carbides, nitrides, metals)
synthesised with a unique process: an atmospheric plasma torch, is looking for industry or research partners to jointly
develop new products where nanopowders can add a great value.
An Estonian SME is seeking partners for manufacture of a non-metallic, conductive, transparent adhesive that can be
used to provide reliable electrical contact between metals. The adhesive can be used as an alternative to metallic solders.
The material has been industry-tested and is ready for manufacture.
A Spanish engineering company from the Canary Islands has developed a mechanism of articulated connecting rods and
with turns opposed in the propulsive set of the bicycles, which produces an elliptical movement in the pedals, with the
purpose of which the user makes the effort just as when walking, replacing the classic circular movement. They are
looking for partners to reach a license agreement and technical cooperation for the commercial design and industrial
production.
A small French company located in the South West of France has developed a new packing material using popcorn in
order to absorb shocks and to protect any fragile goods during transport. This innovative process, resulting from three
years of R&D, absorbs shocks better than competitive expanded polystyrene and allows users to reduce the volume of
packing materials while using biodegradable packing components. The company is looking for industrial partners
interested in further development.
A Swedish SME has a technology that consists of easily applied insulation. It differs markedly from most insulation
materials made of mineral fibres. In the spraying moment, in the binder, which is a water solution mix of a polyvinyl
alcohol polymer, and the hardener disodium tetra borate, the water evaporates. The SME is looking for license
agreement with other companies.
A small Bulgarian company offers a new technology for production of wooden parts, by special turning machine. A
unique design of the produced parts is achieved by the offered technology. The company is looking for a partner in order
to expand its production capacity. A joint venture, technical co-operation or provision of financial resources is sought.
A Polish SME is specialising in advanced hot-chamber casting. As a result of their own R&D investigations an innovative
system of lines for pressure die casting of magnesium alloys has been elaborated. This new method allows for
homogenising of the structure in whole capacity of injected metal. The company is looking for partners interested in
technical collaboration and commercial agreement.
An Estonian SME commercialises polymers with a wide range of functional properties, such as change of electric or
optical properties under external stimuli. The polymers are also highly thermostable (up to 460ÆC), chemostable and
resistant to radiation. Licensees are sought for production of the materials or its specific applications.
Non-petrol engines almost always require a combination of batteries, hydrogen fuels and electric drives. A special
patented design of a motor and a specific application-tuned controller developed by a Swiss company gives a very high
power-to-weight ratio, supporting the transition to electronic drives in vehicles, or the change from petrol drives to
electronic drives. The company is looking for partners interested in development and manufacturing of (light) electric
vehicles.
A Polish research institute is one of the leaders in the field of industrial chemistry. The institute offers an innovative
technology of production of polyester polyols using low-cost renewable, vegetable oils and waste plastic recyclate from
used PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles. The technology considerably cuts the costs of the raw materials being
applied for the production of polyurethane coatings and foamed plastics. Partners interested in license agreement are
being sought.
A UK inventor has developed a novel WC (water closet) design which can significantly reduce the amount of water
required for operation. A provisional patent has been granted for this idea. This technology would be of interest to
sanitary ware manufactures for new and replacement toilets enabling them to comply with new EEC water directives. A
licensing agreement is sought from organisations capable of manufacturing and marketing the product.
A Polish research institute is one of the leaders in the field of industrial chemistry. The institute has developed a novel
technology of production of unsaturated polyester resins using PET (polyethylene terephthalate) waste as one of the
starting materials. As a result the cost of raw materials is considerably reduced whereas the quality remains
competitive. The institute is looking for partners to license the technology.
