A German SME, spin-off from a research institute for laser technology, does not only develop and build laser systems for
plastic material processing but also offers a range of engineering services for components and material modifications for
transmission welding. The technology guarantees a significant advantage through a precise and contact free process,
small heat affected zones and a wide range of possible material combinations. They look for a commercial agreement
with technical assistance.
Contributors with Hungarian university institute background offer portable, laser photometers for industrial plants and
laboratories. They are suitable for exact measurement of humidity content, or for detection of solvent vapours
containing aromatic compounds. As their operation is not influenced by the weather conditions, their application is
useful for the monitoring of oil stains floating on the surface of living waters. The institute seeks cooperation partners.
A major Danish service and inspection provider has a long-term experience within high-quality stainless steel welding.
The company has developed a method for testing quality of stainless steel welds. They are searching a partner for
commercialisation of the project. The ideal partner should be able to manufacture and sell the products. The expectation
is that the main customers are manufacturer of stainless steel equipment. Therefore, the ideal partner has a good access
to this market.
A UK company has developed and patented an alternative calibration system for any load-cell-driven weighing or
calibration operation that saves time, resources, health & safety & environmental issues in the maintenance process of
system calibration. The company is seeking partners for licensing.
A Swedish company has a wide range of testing capabilities for environmental properties. As a manufacturer knows, in
order to survive in these times of hard competition his products must have a high level of quality and be able to
function reliably in many different environments and conditions right from the start. The Swedish company is looking
for technical corporations with a need to test their products.
A Latvian research group from Riga Technical University has developed a simple and cheap technology for solid surface
roughness testing. It may be used for quality control of any material solid-state surfaces, mainly metals. The research
group is looking for companies, interested in technical cooperation.
A Swedish SME has developed a technical leading system for water treatment/purification. This system is compact and
has the capability of handling oil-containing waters - calcium-containing waters. The Swedish SME is looking for a
license agreement with other companies outside Nordic countries.
A Swedish SME has applied for patents, chemical recipes for different kinds of water treatment. For example to reduce
fertiliser in the water a special mixture of chemicals can be added. This chemical will precipitates or settles the
contamination so it can be mechanically removed. License agreements with chemical factories or/and users as well as
consultancy firms are sought.
A Swedish SME has developed system for airing/oxygenation for aqua- and agriculture, industry water plus sewage and
leach water. With oxygenation the water gets cleaner due to activating bacteria in the process for reducing the amount
of water-solved fertiliser. The SME is looking for license agreement with consultants and manufactures of water
treatment products.
A Spanish research group has extensive experience in the study, diagnosis and prevention of psychosocial risks at
workplace, particularly regarding to those stemming from the technological developments in information and
communication. The group offers technical collaboration in evaluating psychosocial risks with reference to legal
obligations, consultancy programmes for stress and psychosocial health and tailors its services to suit the needs of the
organisation.
