A UK company has designed a technology that facilitates protection of clothing from sweating and fostering improved
personal hygiene. Through the development of a protective material that absorbs perspiration at the armpit, the product
is effective in maintaining personal hygiene in warm atmospheres or during physical work. The company seeks
partnerships for license agreements, manufacturing agreements and commercial agreements with technical assistance.
Researchers from a Spanish university have developed a catalyst for use in petrochemical processes that permits
hydrocarbon cracking, alkane isomerisation, de-waxing and iso-de-waxing of paraffin and toluene disproportion. An
agreement of technical cooperation for finishing the development of the technology and the possibility to adapt it to other
sectors is sought.
A French SME specialised in excavation work and building's demolition has developed an eco-process to remove asbestos
from non-porous surfaces. The company offers a complete industrial eco-process in addition to his engineering
competencies for a commercial agreement with technical assistance.
A German SME has developed a revolutionary innovation for the textile industry. This technology allows fastening of a
button without needle nor thread. This process can be performed in a fully automatic way. The SME has a worldwide
protection for this procedure and offers a licensing agreement for distribution of the haberdashery product.
An Italian SME has developed an Automatic bottle inspection system to inspect the whole surface and the look of the
bottles, it controls on-line labels, caps, decorations, stamps and the bottles are controlled without suspend or change the
process flow. They are looking for partners involved in bottling process interested in labelling control for commercial
agreement with technical assistance.
An Italian Engineering study offers an innovative modular structure for tables, protected by an industrial patent and
composed of at least 5 identical "modules", that are quickly linked to each other to get round, squared or rectangular
tables, straight or curved continued long tables meeting-style, with the shape the user needs (ring-shape, elliptical-shape,
etc.). Partners are sought in Europe to adapt the technology to their specific needs and for technical consultancy.
An established Turkish manufacturer of industrial laundry and textile machines is looking for commercial agreements
with technical assistance within Europe. The company wishes to share its experience and expertise with companies who
have past experience of similar product-lines.
A Finnish start-up has developed a pulsed diode laser light source for illumination applications. Temporally and spatially
desired illumination profiles are generated via the fibre coupling of visible light in the power level of 500 W. The new
technology has the advantages of miniature size and portability, high temporal precision as well as ease of operation. The
company is looking for industrial partners in technical co-operation in machine vision systems and light source integration.
Soil percolation (soakage) testing is a standard mandatory requirement for the granting of permission to build housing in
locations where mains sewerage is not available. Testing currently involves visual observation and manual timing by an
observer. It is therefore time consuming and subjective by nature. An Irish company has developed and patented
automatic soil percolation test equipment and are interested in licensing this technology. This proven technology is
already in commercial use.
A Spanish SME, specialised in obtaining products through extraction processes has developed and successfully tested the
capacity of one of their products to reduce the toxins produced by tobacco smoke when it goes through the filter that
contains it. The results obtained show a reduction of the toxic substances in cigarettes in the range of 70% and 80%. The
company is seeking technical co-operation and joint venture agreements.
A UK SME has developed and patented a novel flood protection system which can be fitted to virtually any property in
minutes. Lightweight but extremely strong boards are attached to a frame to create a watertight barrier, easily assembled
or dismantled by any home or business owner. The boards are easily stored when not in use and can be added or removed
one at a time as water rises or recedes, giving maximum protection and accessibility to the property. The company seeks a
licensing partner.
A small UK company has developed a compact modular system to meet the latest international marine pollution
standards for treatment of black and grey water from ships and oil platforms, which can be re-used as technical water or
discharged into sensitive waters. The system can be retrofitted into existing tanks and uses non-chemical methods of
treatment. The process is awaiting international certification having been independently tested. The company seeks
trade/industrial/commercial partners.
A UK SME has designed an innovative product that prevents cross-infection through use of communal toilet facilities in
hospitals and other public buildings. The product consists of a material that is positioned on the toilet seat. However,
unlike paper products which have been used for the same purpose, the material is strong and soluble in water. The
developer is seeking partnerships for licensing, manufacturing and commercial agreements with technical assistance.
An inventor from Poland has developed a new technology of water treatment. The main advantages are that the system
restores the environment to its natural purity level. It treats water effectively without negative impact on the
environment and saves a lot of energy. The system can be used to treat water of such waste and contaminated material
as: oil derivatives, chemical, heavy metals. The inventor is looking for a partner who is interested in a license agreement
or manufacturing agreement.
