use instrument in performing clinical diagnosis and rehabilitation, supervising pharmacological
therapy and studying learning processes. The company is seeking commercial agreements with
technical assistance and license agreements.
An Israeli SME has developed an automatic system for the On-line Control & Management of
Agricultural Farms. Advantages over current systems include economisation of the water quantity
and the fertilizer needed as well as no maintenance used. The company is looking for partners
interested in using the technology, also integration in their systems, e.g. via joint venture.

An Italian SME developed a mobile microwaves device for pest control of wood. It is the first full optional
industrial system coming from the most advanced Italian scientific and industrial research in the field of
pest control. The system substitutes chemicals (mainly methyl bromide) having similar effects, without
causing danger either for health or for environment. The SME is interested in commercial agreements
with technical assistance with companies distributing systems for pest control.
A Swedish SME has a patented software solution that enables the radio to record songs automatically
& saves them as separate music tracks. The user will have an external supply of updated music for
free. The SME is looking for new applications for the radio-music software filter to be used in home hi-
fi, car radios, mobile phones or other electronic devices where the user can value an eternal supply of
music. The SME is also looking for a regional reseller of the first existing consumer product.
Polish University developed new remote medical consultations which are an environment for
collaborative and interactive work on medical documents. The idea of the system is to provide an
easy yet powerful way to exchange doctors' expert knowledge in any place where computer network
is available. A partner for commercial agreement with a technical cooperation is required.
A German SME is developing and marketing plant oil conversion technology for a wide range of cars,
trucks, buses, construction and agricultural vehicles, generators and get sets. The established
technology enables the adaptation of conventional diesel engines to the use of pure plant oil as
biofuel. The company is looking for partners like farmers, oil processors and technicians to initiate
country specific plant oil projects, in terms of joint ventures, licensing or commercial agreements.
A UK company has developed a highly efficient biomass generator unit capable of producing 100KW
of renewable electricity and 200KW of renewable heat. The unit burns a variety of biomass fuels
including wood chips, coppiced willow and miscanthus. The system relies on a uniquely designed
micro turbine generator suited for continuous operation. It has an automated fuel feed and requires
minimal service downtime. The developer seeks commercial agreements with technical assistance.
A private research institute from Poland invented a new technology for production of an innovative
absorber for solar flat collector. Basis for innovation was the application of aluminium for the
absorber’s manufacture, which is more economic in comparison to copper ones due to significantly
lower prices of aluminium. The institute is looking for a partner interested in license agreement.
High-concentration collectors concentrating the sunlight by optical Fresnel lenses reduce the area of
expensive solar modules made usually from Si. These GaAs modules have 2 times higher efficiency (can
reach more than 35% with comparison to ca 16-18% of the traditional Si collectors) and also reduce
production costs of the devices, especially in sunny regions. Tracking system & high solar intensity is
necessary; therefore the company from Prague is looking for partners - production companies.
A Spanish company from the Canary Islands has developed a Concentrator of Reflexive Cavity (CRC)
for photovoltaic electricity generation. The concentrator uses between 10 and 15 times less solar cell
for producing the same energy than a conventional flat-plate PV module. The technology is at
development stage and potential partners are sought for or license agreement.
The Renewable Energy and Water Treatment R&D Centre from the Canary Islands has completed the
development of a new prototype available for demonstration consisting on a container for
desalinisation and production of electric power autonomous from the power supply. It can supply
water and energy to small villages or isolated areas. The Canary Center searches for industrial
partners or non-governmental organisations interested in manufacturing and commercialising it.
A Polish technical university developed a technology that allows reducing heat energy consumption in
buildings through control and monitoring of energy distribution between multiple users supplied from
one or several sources (heat exchangers, generators, etc.). The technology is addressed to local
producers and managers of energy, or energy consumers, to estimate to establish more control over
the energy distribution. License agreement and joint venture are the preferred forms of collaboration.
An Italian research consortia located in Catania has developed a new technique to reduce 1) the cost
of repairs of polyethylene (PE) pipe systems by developing effective non-destructive testing (NDT)
systems and 2) the risk to the environment. It is an inspection standard which allows flaws to be
assessed based on their effect on the performance of welded joint. The NDT system for electro fusion
(EF) joint could be interested in gas/water utility industries which can exploit the equipment.
Polish private inventor has developed an innovative method of packaging. The method concerns the
plastic foil package primarily and basically it is applicable for food and pharmaceutical products, but
it can be applied in any production that involves packaging of small pieces of products. The
technology’s offerer is interested in license agreement or joint venture – aimed at adaptation and
development of the technology according to the recipient's requirements.
A Catalan company has developed a new sorting machine equipped with different kind of sensors to
separate all metals included stainless steel with a big capacity and small size. The developer is
looking for a commercial agreement with technical assistance.
