A Spanish company develops multi-platform installation and management tools, for operating systems as Linux,
Windows and Unix. BitRock Install Builder is an easy-to-use installation tool that companies can use to reduce support
costs and improve the end-user experience, providing a customized installer that automates otherwise complex and
error-prone manual installation steps. The company is looking for a commercial agreement partner.
A Spanish company has developed a portable proximity reader that is mainly used for patrol control. The device
improves the current systems due to its very high robustness and the impossibility to be tampered. So, recorded data
concerning services and actions performed by users let unmodified. The equipment is already on the market and the
company is looking for commercial agreements with technical assistance.
An Estonian company has developed a mobile interpretation method. This method offers a solution for (prepaid) two-
way real-time oral or written interpretation services over existing telecommunication networks. Clients can use as a
mean of communication mobile phones, regular phones or a computer connected to the Internet. The preferred co-
operation method would be a license agreement to operate on certain markets.
A consortium of European technical centres and industrial companies has developed and field-tested a decision support
system (toolset) based on dynamic process models and dynamic optimisation. The main innovation of this system is to
initiate dynamic optimisation integrated to operator decision support as an everyday tool at mills. This consortium is
looking for industrial partners to market this system, under license agreement.
A Spanish company has developed a piece of software for helping the components of a corporation in their current
activities. For that goal, this software offers, through the Web, a set of tools easily adaptable to any organisation’s
needs, like management of documents, incidences, contacts, events, tasks, meetings and e-mails. The information is kept
in one common site accessible to the whole staff. Partners are sought for joint ventures or commercial agreements with
technical assistance.
A small Bulgarian company has developed night vision goggles, based on image intensifier tubes (passive mode). It's an
individual device for surveillance, reconnaissance, security protection at natural night illumination. The device is
suitable for driving vehicles, map reading, repair activities. The partners sought should be interested in further
developments/improvements; in becoming their representatives & in ordering the maintaining and producing of optical
and mechanical details/devices.
A small Bulgarian scientific group suggests to work out algorithms and software for control of robots & other
mechanisms, assuring smooth motion of the end-effector (the computer programs permit the calculation of the motor
torques & movement laws of the robot parameters); optimisation tasks for minimum expenditure of energy; inverse
tribotechnical tasks (determination of the moment of friction in a bearing’s packing). European partners are sought for
manufacturing agreement & financial support.
A Bulgarian research organisation has developed an innovative alternative current hybrid electroluminescent display
structure with increased lifetime, brightness and stability of the image, energy-saving, ecological and stable to
radiation. It is useful for all industries and services where electroluminescent displays are used. Cooperation with
European partners is sought - license agreement, joint venture agreement, commercial agreement with technical
assistance and financial resources.
Researchers at Cranfield University have developed a novel technique for using changes in the optical properties of a
specially coated optical fibre sensor to determine the absolute chemical composition or changes in composition of a
solution. This enables the development of low-cost disposable sensors for a variety of applications. The university is
looking for partners for further development and commercialisation.
An Israeli company has developed a multisensory multimedia program for teaching English reading skills to children.
This novel teaching method employs a unique voice recognition technique with real-time feedback, bringing the average
child to full reading ability within 15 hours. This program can be easily localized and converted to other phonetic
languages. The company is looking for partners to support and distribute the program, as well as for partners to convert
it to other languages.
AutoMapa, designed primarily for mobile systems (with GPS (global positioning system) receiver), provides unparalleled
navigation on (so long) Polish roads. Using custom-made precise digital maps AutoMapa leads user from door to door -
automatically finds the best route and corrects it if you divert for any reason. Sales representative, partnership in
map/software exchange, technolology join to sell together are sought.
The leading concept of a French technical centre is to offer other software publishers an integration kit for Windows
applications, to interface and integrate any software product into the previously existing applications. The French centre has
a good knowledge of Windows programming methods, especially Delphi, Web applications and .NET. The French technical
centre is looking for partners for commercial agreement with technical assistance (technical training and consultancy).
A company from West Poland offers the LiveChat software - unique online sale support for Web-oriented businesses. They
are looking for technical collaboration with a company from the IT trade, that wants to enrich its product’s value by
implementing in it its solution as well as for a partner from the IT trade to distribute their ready-made software (basic on
the joint venture agreement).
